Her current story
On August 21, 2025, we were told that our two-year-old daughter, Briar Rose, has cancer. She was diagnosed with leukemia — B-ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) and began her treatment at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. We are so fortunate to have one of the best hospitals for childhood cancer treatment in our backyard, but Briar Rose faces a long road ahead. In an instant, our family’s life completely changed. For the next 2.5 years our baby will undergo a series of chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments. Her treatment is unpredictable and demanding, so as her mom, I have left my job to care for her. It was a difficult decision for us, but necessary. Briar Rose is the sweetest, goofiest, most lovable little girl. Everyone who meets her instantly falls in love with her. She is so deserving of all the best things life can offer, so we are all optimistic that she will beat this awful disease. She is supported by our wonderful close knit family, including her amazing four-year-old brother, Braeden, who is her best friend and biggest cheerleader. We are so grateful for our family and the opportunity to share our story.
